The Luminex™ Liquichip 200® uses xMAP® bead technology to perform a variety of lab tests measuring biomolecular reactions on the surface of xMAP microspheres. Two fluidic paths are used in the Liquichip 200®. The first path involves a syringe driven system that controls sample uptake injected into the cuvette. Following analysis the second path automatically purges the sample path removing residuals from the sample path, tubing, valves and probe. This second path is driven by positive air pressure to supply fluids to the sample path and cuvette.
Samples are acquired by the Liquichip 200® instrument and delivered to the XYP component. The fluidics are controlled by the SD Instrument which allows the user to run samples continuously without having to refill sheath bottles. A single 20L sheath container provides enough fluid for 48 hours or more of normal operation.
This instrument was in use at the time we acquired it in November of 2017 from a major biotechnology lab in Boston. It is in excellent working condition and has been well maintained. We offer a 90-day guarantee, although we do not offer installation or technical support. Any consumables must be obtained by the customer.
