How much gas pressure should my ABI 3900 be receiving?
The 3900 is designed to operate within the range of 60 – 80 psi, with the ideal operating pressure lying somewhere in the middle, around 72 psi. If your 3900 is fitted with a digital pressure switch for gas entry, be careful to not allow the incoming pressure to fall below 60 psi. This will result in an immediate shutdown of the instrument. This feature is a preventative measure taken to ensure no liquids fill the chamber and flow into the supporting gears.
